Get Started with Midd Resources while Off-Campus

Connecting from Off-Campus

The online resources you use on-campus are for the most part also available wherever you have internet connectivity. In order to use them, you need to link through the Library webpages, or through links on the table of contents listed below. When you connect to many of the Midd databases, you'll be prompted to input your Midd user name and password - the same ones you use for Midd email.

Look for Information on a Topic

Don't know where to start? Start with a general search through LibrarySearch, from the Library Home Page, or choose among the Subject Research Guides to locate a subject specific database

You can also ASK A LIBRARIAN through email.

Know where you want to start? Use Databases A-Z.

Can I Use "Go Links" from Off-Campus?

Yes, you can still use Middlebury "go links" (Midd's URL shortcut system) from off-campus. To do so, type in and add the shortcut. For example:

Library Homepage
On campus: go/lib/
Off campus:

On campus: go/jstor/
Off campus:

Tech Helpdesk
On campus: go/helpdesk/
Off campus:

On campus: go/webmail/
