Devices

OverDrive works with a wide variety of devices!

In order to read OverDrive e-books on your device, you need to install the Libby app.  Please see this page for complete instructions.  Basically, the process is as follows:

  1. Download the Libby app to your listening device and create an original account.
  2. Tap the large red "Libby" on the app to open a sidebar, then tap "Add A Library" and search for "Middlebury College” as a library.  You will be taken to our sign-in page to enter your Middlebury College username and password.
  3. Browse the available selections and borrow an audiobook or e-book
  4. For an audiobook, download the MP3 files using the app.  Access and manage your loans from your electronic bookshelf.
  5. Some e-book titles are also available for use with Kindle apps and readers.
